How to Beat the Game of Blackjack with a Simple Plus-Minus Count?
Whether you’re playing in an actual casino or an online casino in Malaysia, there is always going to be game of blackjack being offered in these.
There are many strategies that are in play during a blackjack game. One of the most prominent techniques being used is card counting, but there are also others as well that will help increase the odds of a player to win the entire thing.
Today, I am going to talk about how you can win the game of blackjack using a simple Plus-Minus count.
How It’s Done
As you very much know by now, the casino will always have an advantage over the player, well, until the player decides to use some strategies that will help them win.
The house edge drastically changes the more cards that are removed from the original deck of cards. Players can either use basic strategies like counting cards, for example, to help gain the upper hand and so that they can safely place larger bets in the process.
The Plus-Minus count is typically used as a means to keep a running total of what is known as the “count”. Basically, a player would see the cards that are currently on the table and they would assign numbers to them. Then, they will keep a running count in their head so that they will know what cards will be on the table during the next phase of the game. Just remember that with a new show or deck, the count will always reset to zero.
How the Cards Are Counted
When you see the cards 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, you will count these cards as “Plus 1”. Ten cards and Aces (including the Jack, Queen, and King Cards) count as “Minus 1”. The cards 7, 8, and 9 counts as “Zero” and can just be ignored.
As an example, suppose that you see a 5, a ten, a 6, an 8, and an ace card on the table. You assign the appropriate measures on the cards by referring to the information above. As new cards are introduced, the count should always be reset to zero and you continue on with the count.
Every time the count is a zero or a minus, you place a bet that is a unit higher than you currently made. If the count is positive, you can safely bet more than one unit.
If you are betting more when you have the edge and you make a mental note to bet less when you do not have the advantage, then you have essentially beaten the house at blackjack.
How to Not Get Barred
There are some casinos that are okay with card counting and other Blackjack strategies, but there are also some that would deem it as cheating.
To not tip off the pit bosses, you must take insurance as this is a way for you to tell them that you playing on the safe side.
